If you think Utah is hot, you haven't experienced Texas humidity and heat of 107. Aaron took this picture to show how hot it was, we sweat a lot, but after 3 summers in Texas we are finally used to it. Wow 3 summers, I can't believe it has already been that long....one more to go and then we finally get to go back home to Utah!
After the parade we went to our friends house for a pool party. Emma and I made this 4th of July cake, she did all the blueberries and strawberries and she was so proud of herself.
Later at night we went to the Lonestar Park where they have live horse races, children's fair and fireworks. The girls loved riding the ponies!
Gotta love Texas!
While we were waiting for the fireworks to start the girls were playing with bubbles. I love these next two pictures! Chloe was so happy and proud of herself once she figured out how to blow bubbles by herself.
Here are the girls playing with their glow sticks during the fireworks show.
This was the coolest firework show we had ever seen! It was 20 minutes long and they choreographed it to music, it was amazing!
