Twi-Nerds

I got to go to the midnight showing of Eclipse with my friends Sarah and Shelley. We got tickets to see the trilogy and it was so much fun! We even made our own T-shirts that say, "OCD Obsessive Cullen Disorder" The theater had a costume contest which was lame, but if they had a t-shirt contest we would have won hands down.
When you walked into the theater they had these life size props of Jacob and Edward to take your pictures with and then everybody voted in a drawing for either Edward or Jacob and they randomly picked two people that won the life size Jacob or Edward to take home. Edward won of course with 51% votes to 49% to Jacob.

We were sitting in that theater for 10 hours so we brought everything to make us comfy, including blankets, socks, burritos from taco bell and lots of candy. The whole night was so much fun besides the squealing throughout all of New Moon every time Jacob had his shirt off which was pretty much the whole show, that got a little annoying. But I really liked Eclipse, I think it's my favorite so far.

Uncle Erik

I haven't seen my little brother Erik in over 3 1/2 years. We moved out to Texas about the same time he enlisted in the military and we have never been visiting Utah at the same time so we always missed each other. He called and told me that he would be at airport near my house for a few hours before he had to take off for some more training. I was so excited that I would finally get to see him and have him meet my girls, even if it was at an airport and only for a couple of hours.
Erik was worried that since the girls didn't know him they would be really shy, but they took to him right away, what's not to love? They thought he was so funny and they wore him out making him carry them all over on his shoulders and back and upside down, good thing he has packed on some muscle. :)

The first thought I had when I saw Erik was "Man he got big!"
The girls got antsy hanging out at the baggage claim after a few hours so we had to leave, but it was nice getting to chat with Erik and we can't wait till next April when we can see him again. We love you Erik!

And the Diabetic gets some cake

Today is Aaron's Birthday. He has school all day as usual until real late, but we were able to get a babysitter for the weekend and go out for steak and see the Karate Kid, which was awesome!! Aaron wasn't expecting much today, but the girls and I made Egg and Sausage Muffins for breakfast and surprised Aaron by sending him off to school in a car full of balloons.

Lucky for us a patient had to reschedule so Aaron came home and joined us for lunch, cupcakes with 29 candles and presents.

Poor guy never gets sweets because of his diabetics, but the girls and I made cupcakes for him anyways.....I figure once a year is okay, right? Happy Birthday Aaron, we love you!!

Emma turns 6!

*Beware lots of pictures
School has been out a week and a half now and it has been nothing but busy. Im all for free entertainment. Add a bubble machine to a bubble bath and you get a free hour of fun. Check out your local library for storytime and there is another free hour of fun. Our library had a magician last night and it was lots of fun. Play places at the mall are also a great free hour of fun, except when your 3 year old decides it's a good time to pee her pants, sigh! And this weekend we have also been celebrating Emma's 6th birthday.

Aaron has school real late on Emma's birthday so we celebrated over the weekend at the bowling alley.
Chloe waiting for that strike....or not :)

Chloe's victory dance

Mmmm frosting!
I got this idea from my sister Kerstin and put together a craft box for Emma. It was the best gift, after opening it Emma said, "This is the best birthday ever!" Ah just what I like to hear.
Then today was Emma's birthday and we couldn't just do nothin, so I told Emma we could do whatever she wanted on her birthday and she chose the splash factory, which is awesome cuz it only costs a dollar. To make things better our friends the Kirchmanns came with us!

Emma and Aubree stickin out their behinds in the sprinklers lol!
To top things off Sarah made these adorable shirts for the girls. Chloe got a pink C shirt for her last birthday and it is her Favorite shirt! She insists on wearing it just about everyday, it's a nightmare trying to get her to wear anything else so Chloe was quite a happy lil camper to now have two C shirts.
And the backs have cute butterflies on them. Plus Emma got this cute flower clip. Thank you Sarah, you're so thoughtful! Emma has been spoiled this birthday, but she deserves it. And she is very excited that Princess Belle is going to be calling her tonight to wish her a Happy Birthday. https://secure.uvoxnetworks.com/disney/ Check it out, it's a cute present for any little princess.
