A little bit of everything

It's been a while since I have blogged, we've been so busy so I will try to catch up. Just before Easter Aaron got quite the surprise. Aaron served his mission in the Manchester England mission and his favorite companion was Elder Baron who is also from England. Well John and his girlfriend just happened to take a trip out to Utah and Aaron had no idea he was in town. I told Aaron we were going on a date to a restaurant in Salt Lake called the Red Iguana. While we were waiting to be seated his companion walked through the door and Aaron was totally shocked! He was so excited to see his companion, it had been a long time since they have seen eachother. We had so much fun just eating great food and visiting. I could just listen to them talk for hours, I love their accents.
Easter was a fun weekend with family. We traveled to Delta and had a BBQ and a egg hunt for the kiddos.
Then we came back to my parents house and did another egg hunt for the kids. Did I mention Emma got glasses a couple of weeks ago? At night when she did her homework she would complain that her eyes were watery, I finally figured out that her eyes weren't watering but that was how she described blurry, it looked like she was looking through water, duh! So we took her to the eye doctor and yep she needs them to see things up close but she is still suppose to wear them most of the time. Well she has my eyes, but hopefully she gets Aaron's teeth.
My brothers, what can I say....
But the kids weren't the only ones who got to do a egg hunt. Every year my Mom puts one together for us older kids :) She spends a whole week getting it ready. But there is no candy in those eggs, no much better, money! Haha we get so greedy with our reusable shopping bags around our necks and my Dad gives the green light and it's total chaos! All the eggs are filled with coins and some lucky ones get dollar bills. Aaron and I made it out with $40, date night here we come!
I got more eggs there Aaron did, I was a little more aggressive.
Emma just had her Spring Program at school today. I am so proud of her, she did such a great job and she was so adorable! Look at her squished between all those boys. Her table at school is all boys and she loves it.
The theme was Seasons Change, so they sang lots of songs about each season.

Emma got to do the Winter Waltz with this pretty white dress we borrowed from my niece Mary, it was her baptism dress.
Emma's dance partner was Luke. He is such a sweet boy! They have more boys then girls in her class and the teacher chose 4 boys and 4 girls to dance in the program and she said she needed one more and asked the boys who would volunteer. All the boys were quiet but then Luke raised his hand and said, "I will dance but only if I get to dance with Emma." How cute is that!

Look how cute! :)
Emma also had a singing part with two other girls, Emma loves to sing and she has a really pretty voice.
Here was a country dance Emma got to do with Luke.

She talked a lot about the end of the dance where she jumps on Lukes back. It was really hard to get a picture of, but it was really cute!
Luke asked if he could get a picture with Emma after the program. Aaron later asked Emma if he needed to have a talk with Luke and she just gets real shy about it. I Love it!
