Emma's Recital

Emma had her first ballet recital last night at the Uptown Theater. She did so well, she is naturally graceful and loves ballet. After the recital she said, "Mom I had such a great day, when is my next recital?" We rewarded her by taking her to chuck-e-cheese afterwards which she and Chloe just loved. We are so proud of you Emma!

This is Emma with her dance teacher Mrs. Stephanie, she is so great with the kids!
Our little ballerina, just too cute!

Sweet Sisters

Aaron found the girls on the couch and Emma was reading Chloe's favorites books to her. Yummy Yucky, Quiet Loud, Blankie, Dummy....I'm sure you've heard of em.
Emma is a very animated reader, this would be the Yummy Yucky book, in case you couldn't tell.
They love their books. Say Cheese!

Day Three of our Houston Vacation!

We spent our last day at the Childrens Museum which was just what the girls needed. It is designed just for kids so you can just let em go, and they love that they can get into everything and not get in trouble.
Check out this cool statue guy made only out of phones.
The museum has tons of hands on learning centers and crafts, it was so nice just sitting back and watching the girls play.

Chloe was loving the face painting booth. When we first handed her the crayon and told her to go for it, she just looked at us like "Are you serious!?!"

It was so nice to go on a vacation. We are hoping that next year we will be able to go to San Antonio and visit Sea World. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Day Two!

We spent our second day in Houston at the Downtown Aquarium. We had so much fun so beware there are lots of pictures.
Emma is so cute, I saw this boat and I told Emma to sit in it so I could get a picture and she said "-K- Mom you ready, check this out." and then she pulled this pose....where does she get this? :)
Aaron and Emma pulling their fish faces.
Chloe could not get enough of petting the sting rays. Emma was scared, but Chloe loved it! We had to keep telling her to be soft because she kept trying to grab them. They were the friendliest sting rays I have ever seen. They were born in captivity so they are used to people and they would literally jump out of the water to get you to pet them. It was really cool!

They even had some white tigers that we got to see them feed.
Outside the aquarium they had all these rides for the kids. We got our money's worth and went on them over and over and over. We got to ride the train, carosel, ferris wheel and another ride that is like the Superman that shoots you up and down.

I was surprised that Emma wasn't scared of the "Superman" ride, she absolutely loved it! Chloe was crying that she couldn't go on it, but once she saw Emma laughing and screaming Chloe started laughing too.

The guy running the ride felt bad for Chloe so he let her go on it too. She had a blast!
They also had this great place with fountains for the kids to run around in to cool off.

I love this picture of Emma on the train ride. When you pass this lake the Jaws music starts and then this shark pops out of the water and it scared us to death.

At the end of the day we were still up to some miniture golf. Texas is a Great place for a vacation, so come out and see us!

Houston Vacation Day One!

For our first day of our family vacation we visited the NASA Space Center and it was AwEsOmE!! This was definitly the highlight of the trip for me. We took a tour and some of the things we got to see were Space Shuttles, Rockets, and the Mission Control Center. It was pretty cool and the girls enjoyed it too. The Rockets and Shuttles are so gigantic that it's hard to see Aaron and the girls in the pictures....look closely cuz they're there. :)
