Chloe turned 2!

We can't believe Chloe turned two this week! For her birthday we went to the mall and rode the rides and the carosel. We also took her to build a bear where she picked out a bunny to stuff. We have been dreading this moment because we made her stuff her binki's into the bunny. She didn't want to at first, but we talked her into it. The rest of the day she kept asking for her binki and turning the bunny over and over looking for it. When we were in the car on the way home we heard her talking to herself and she said "Binki in Bunny's tummy." She has cried a lot, but she made it through the first night and we are so happy to not have to worry about binki's anymore and losing them all the time. Hooray!

Yes that is suppose to be an Elmo cake, but it turned out to be a pink Elmo....hey I am no ace of cakes! Chloe still loved it and she knew who it was, phew!

The girls with their cousin Myree.

Even though Chloe had a fork she didn't use it or her hands. She just dove right in and ate it like this until it was all gone. It was pretty funny to watch. Happy Birthday Chlo Bug, we love you tons and tons and tons!

Emma the ballerina!

I took Emma to her first dance class today where she gets to learn Ballet and Tap. This is perfect for Emma, she has been walking on her toes since she could walk and the teacher kept saying how well she did today. I am so excited for her and I think she will just love this.

Cabo San Lucas Mexico

For Christmas this year my Dad took our entire family to Mexico. We got to stay in the presidential suite at the nicest resort. Most of us were able to go, we had 11 adults and 9 grandchildren. Cabo has beautiful beaches and we had so much fun just relaxing and swimming all week. Thanks Dad and Mom for an amazing trip!

Happy Birthday to Me!!

For my 25th birthday this week Aaron got me a new car! It is a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander and it seats seven, I absolutely love it! Now I can actually get out of the house instead of having to drive Aaron to school at 6:00 in the morning just to have a car.

The Best and Worst Christmas Ever!!

This Christmas has been an eventful one for us. It started out with our flight into Utah. We were suppose to have a 45 minute layover in Denver, but it turned into a 8 hour layover due to the snow in Utah. It was crazy and we were all exhausted! Aaron was quite frustrated with trying to get the girls to fall asleep at the airport at 2:00 in the morning. But we finally made it to Utah at 4:00 in the morning with two very tired girls. The next day we had fun playing in the snow and building a snowman. That night was my family Christmas party with all of the Emma's cousins. They had so much fun together, and then that night at 4:00 in the morning my parents house caught on fire. Aaron and I and the girls were asleep in the basement when I heard my Dad messing around in the furnace room. I came out of my room to see that the whole basement was filled with smoke. I asked my Dad what was wrong and we both heard this strange sound that sounded like popcorn. My mom started screaming that the roof was on fire and so we grabbed the kids and ran outside. For the next couple of hours we watched the house burn down and the firemen trying to save it. We are just so blessed that my Dad woke up in time since the fire alarms didn't work and that we all got out safe. Merry Christmas!
