Our Rainy Campout

Aaron just completed Tri 5 at school and has a two week break. The first thing we did was pack our stuff and went camping at Fairfield State Park. Even though the weather was against us and it rained 90% of the time we had a blast. Emma said, "Mom I loved camp outing."

We went on a hike and there was this constant light rain, but it made everything so green and pretty. We love all the trees!

On our hike the girls found these huge leave that they carried over their heads like umbrellas from the rain.

It took Aaron a lot of work to get the fire going, but man those tin foil dinners were worth the wait!
Chloe is ready for smores.

We had to do our smores over our camping stove in our "rain shelter tent."
Despite the rain the girls didn't seem to notice the difference, they still got to be dirty all day and not get in trouble. They loved camping and want to go again.

Hippity Hoppity Easter!!

We have had a great Easter! We got to to do a lot of fun things with our girls this weekend, we decorated eggs, went to a Easter Carnival where the girls got their faces painted, played on bounce houses, met the Easter Bunny and got to do a massive Easter Egg Hunt, it was Awesome!I got this picture of Chloe sliding down the big slide on the bounce house, judging by her face I don't think she quite knew what to expect, she was pretty shocked when she got to the bottom, but once that wore off, she decided she loved it and went again.

Emma with her Best Friend and cousin Myree.

This picture cracks me up. Emma is acting like a dork and apparently Chloe thinks she is hilarious and Myree has no clue what is going on.....say Cheese.

The Easter Egg Hunt had 100,000 Eggs! I have never seen so many kids at one place before, it was crazy!

Lets Go Fly a Kite....

This weekend we had great weather so we took the girls to the park to fly some kites. We had so much fun and the girls loved watching the kite fly higher and higher. We look forward to more windy days.

I promise those power lines are not as close as they look!

Chloe loved this tree, she was just dancing around it and wouldn't stop looking at it. So I went over and saw what she was so fascinated by and it was the ants that were crawling up and down the tree. They kept her quite entertained.

Chloe found some of the first flowers of spring, and when she smelled them and pulled it away from her nose, she had yellow pollen all over her face.
