So this weekend was the first weekend in weeks that Aaron didn't have to go to school. The girls were so excited to see Daddy and have him home for more then a couple of hours, but it was still weird to them and they kept asking "When are you going to school Daddy?" So we took advantage of our Saturday and took the girls on a "Family Date" to go bowling. They absolutely loved it and we had a blast! Even though the ball was bigger then she is, Chloe insisted on carrying it all by herself.
The girls got so into it and it was funny to watch because even if they didn't knock down any pins they would still get exctied and cheer.
Check out Emma's Victory Dance, she is such a hoot! I don't know where she learns these dance moves. :)
So my ankle was bothering me yesterday and I had Aaron adjust it for me and then he did some Acupuncture as well. He has been taking an extra course at school and will be certified this year. I get to be his test subject, which can be a lot of fun. Anyways, my ankle feels awesome today!
Check out these awesome clouds we had last night right before the storm. I have never seen any like this before.
Growing up in my family we went all out for St. Patricks Day. I absolutely loved it as a kid and I looked forward to it every year. It is still my favorite holiday and I am so glad that I get to keep the tradition going with my family. I do the same thing my Mom did for me and my siblings on St. Patricks Day. When the girls wake up they find a set of Leprachaun footprints outside their door. They follow them up and down the wall over to the decorated table, up and over the couch around to where the Leprachauns left them their own "pot of gold". Then we got to eat Lucky Charms with green milk and green chocolate chip pancakes, all thanks to the Leprachauns (who got up really early...) Happy St. Patricks Day! You better wear some green!
Today I found Emma holding Lola and she said "Momma Lola is shaking so I'm holding her to warm her up." How cute is that! Once I started taking pictures she did all these poses, such a goofball.
Aaron's school is having a talent show next week where he will do a drum solo. 30 people tried out but only 8 were chosen and Aaron was one of them. The winner gets $1,000, so Aaron is pretty stoked about it. He has been practicing like crazy and Chole has too. As you can see she is still going through the no clothes phase, we were lucky that she wanted to wear the shirt.
The weather was perfect today, so the girls and I found this great park where they could feed all the ducks. They were so excited to see all these ducks that Chloe took right off and just about fell head first into the water when she saw them. It was a great day!! Gotta love Texas weather.
Today Aaron got off school early so he came home and said, "Lets go on a Daddy Daughter Date Emma!" Emma was so excited she just kept saying "Mom I'm going on my first Daddy Daughter Date!" Aaron took her to Chuck-E-Cheese and they had a blast! Aaron said that Emma just couldn't stop smiling, she was so happy. They stamp your hand when you go in and it lights up when you leave and Emma said, "Daddy it is a magic stamp!" Aaron told her that only Chuck-E-Cheese has the magic stamp and when they got outside they were parked under the Chuck-E-Cheese sign, Emma was holding her arm up to it trying to see if the magic stamp would re-appear. He said they had so much fun that it wore Emma out and she fell asleep right when she got in the car. I am so glad that Aaron was able to spend this time with Emma, especially since he is always so busy with school.
