Emma Graduates!

My baby graduated from Kindergarten today. I am so proud of Emma! She learned how to read and write, do math, tell time....I know I wasn't learning all the stuff she did when I was in Kindergarten. Congrats Emma! We love you!!

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day! I gave my mothers day talk today in Sacrament meeting and I was grateful for the opportunity, but man I was nervous! I hate that I always get so nervous whenever I have to give a talk or a lesson, no matter how much I will myself to stop shaking I can't help shaking like a leaf....it's horrible.

I made these pictures flower bouquets for all my moms for Mothers Day. I thought they turned out cute and they were super easy and cheap, just the way I like it.
This last week was Teacher Appreciation Week and here is the pencil vase I put together for Emma's Kindergarten teacher. I got this idea online and I loved the idea of the teachers being able to use the pencils off the vase. I just used a rubber band to hold the pencils around a Crystal Light container and then covered it with a ribbon. Again cute, super easy and cheap. :)
Yesterday we went to the Scarborough Fair and we got to ride the elephant again, you just can't pass up an elephant ride.
I know its hard to see, but Chloe is wedged between Emma and I. She was leaning over trying to pet the elephant.
Chloe looks concerned, I think she was wondering, "Who are these people?"
The girls loved this ride. Chloe got off and said, "That ride is so busy!" Meaning it made her so dizzy. It was really funny because at the beginning while the girls were sitting in the ride waiting for the other kids to get on Chloe said, "It's too slow!" The people running the swing thought that was pretty funny, don't they know to hurry up and get things going? Chloe waits for no one.

Blue Bonnet Pictures

It's a popular thing here in Texas that when spring roles around you go out and take family pictures in a field full of Blue Bonnet flowers. Often times these fields are on the side of the road and you'll see people pulled over taking pictures of their little kiddos. We got together with our friends the Kirchmanns last weekend and took our family pictures among the Blue Bonnets and I think they turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself.
